Apple Patent Points to Face ID Coming to Apple Watch Along with Band Sensors

Apple has filed a patent for a new wearable device that has the potential to be the next Apple Watch. The patent was filed in December of 2017 and it is titled “Wearable Device with Face Identification”.

The device is said to have a display, sensors, and an array of cameras on the front side that can take pictures of your face. The sensors are able to detect your heartbeat and blood flow which will then unlock the device. This is an interesting feature because it will allow you to keep your phone in your pocket or bag while still being able to access your phone with just one touch of the screen.

This new wearable device will also have different modes that you can switch between depending on what you are doing at that time. One mode might be for fitness , where the device will track your workouts and measure your heart rate. Another mode might be for travel, where the device will have maps and a trip planner.Apple has filed a patent for a new wearable device that has the potential to be the next Apple Watch. The latest patent from Apple points to the company finally bringing Face ID to the Apple Watch. In addition, it also hints at a new band sensor that will be able to track heart rate, blood oxygen levels and other health metrics.

Apple has been granted a patent for an electronic wristband with sensors that can measure health metrics and transmit them wirelessly to an iPhone or watch. The patent details how the device could measure heart rate, blood oxygen levels, skin temperature and other vital signs. It also mentions that the device could be used as a fitness tracker.

All these data collected by this wristband will then be transmitted wirelessly to an iPhone or watch where they can be analyzed in real-time by third-party applications, like fitness apps.
