Ways to Use Your Mac and iPhone Together: Apple's Continuity

Apple has been at the forefront of mobile device innovation for years. With the introduction of iOS 8 and OS X Yosemite, Apple is introducing a new feature called Continuity. This allows you to easily access your Mac from your iPhone and vice versa through Wi-Fi connection. We will show you exactly how this works in this blog post!

The convenience of having your phone and computer work together is immense. Whether you're on the go or at home, all of these tools are right there for easy access with Continuity features in macOS (OS X) and iOS!

Copy and Paste Content With Universal Clipboard

You can now seamlessly move between your Apple devices with Continuity, thanks to a special set of features called Handoff. The Universal Clipboard is one part in this package and it allows you copy content on Macs or iPads that has been copied previously elsewhere - like iPhones! It's easy enough once both sides are enabled for their respective tasks by turning ON "HandOff." From there just select what needs editing then hit COPY again when finished making changes so everything gets sent over wirelessly before pressing transfer button at bottom right corner if needed (or not).

Resume Tasks With Handoff

Handoff is a great way to continue your work from one device into another. If you are using Handoff with iOS, then any app that streams content and connects directly through iCloud should be supported for the feature! AirDrop is a great way to quickly and easily share files with your iPhone. To start, make sure both devices have the feature turned on in their settings before starting from either device by selecting "Wi-Fi" or Bluetooth under Settings > Wi-Fi + Cellular Clicking each option will allow them discoverable by others nearby when connected via same network as well as any other AirDrop enabled computers near yours; next click Share then select whether recipient has account info saved already if so skip ahead otherwise enter email address & password - once complete tap Send (or simply tapping Save) button at bottom right corner after OK'ng warning about private data.

Click on the Share button and you should see an option for AirDrop. The easiest way to send text messages from your Mac is through Text Message Forwarding on iOS or macOS. You'll need access via Settings > Messages and ensuring that you're reachable at both email address (for sending) as well phone number (to receive). To begin texting, start a conversation like normal; but instead of selecting someone else's iPhone number in their contacts list - choose yours!
