With the rising awareness among youths about mental health and the importance of prioritizing mental peace, Apple is all set to launch its new feature “Mindfulness” to help its users go through it and grow through it.
Just Breathe is the new motto of the world. Abdominal breathing for 20 to 30 minutes each day will reduce anxiety and reduce stress. Deep breathing increases the supply of oxygen to your brain and stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system, which promotes a state of calmness.
WHAT DOES THIS FEATURE BRING WITH IT?
As rumors predicted, watchOS 8 is revamping the Breathe app into a new app called Mindfulness that not only encourages you to focus on your breathing throughout the day, but also reflect.
It will remind you to do things like, think about something you like to do and remind yourself why it brings you joy, whilst focusing on the animation on the screen. The Breathe and Reflect sessions will end with a summary of Mindful Minutes, along with your average heart rate.
How does the Mindfulness app work?
The Mindfulness app features a new icon and so do Breathe and Reflect Inside the app:
1) Reflect is the top option
2)Give it a tap to start a Reflect session or tap the three-dot icon to change session length and see tips
3) At the end of the session, you’ll see a summary of your total “Mindful Minutes” for the day, your heart rate during the session, and up top a message to “Carry this feeling of relaxation with you.”
